Jonny Evans is a Northern Irish professional footballer who is best known for his significant contributions to Manchester United during his tenure from 2004 to 2015. Born on January 3, 1988, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Evans joined the Manchester United youth academy after moving from Greenwood FC in 2004.
Evans made his first-team debut for United in 2007 and quickly established himself as a reliable central defender. He became known for his composure, intelligence on the ball, and solid defensive abilities. Throughout his career at United, he played alongside prominent defenders, including Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, and formed strong defensive partnerships.
