Ruud van Nistelrooy is celebrated as one of the most prolific strikers in football history. Known for his exceptional finishing ability and his sharp positional play inside the box, Van Nistelrooy had an illustrious career, especially at Manchester United, where he scored 150 goals in 219 appearances. He won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2003 and helped United win the league, FA Cup, and other honors. Van Nistelrooy also played for PSV Eindhoven, Real Madrid, Hamburg, and Málaga, scoring over 340 goals at club level throughout his career.

Coaching Career:
After retiring from playing in 2012, Van Nistelrooy moved into coaching. He spent time gaining experience with youth setups, particularly at Manchester United, where he took on a coaching role to work with the club's young forwards. His insight and knowledge of goal-scoring were invaluable in helping young attacking talents at United. Van Nistelrooy's time coaching at Manchester United served as a significant stepping stone in his coaching development.

In addition to his role at United, Van Nistelrooy worked in the youth setup at PSV Eindhoven, his former club. He coached the club’s U-19 and U-21 teams before being appointed as the head coach of PSV Eindhoven's first team in 2022.
