Biography

John Reginald "Reg" Hunter was a Welsh footballer best known for his contributions in Wrexham rather than Manchester. Born in Colwyn Bay and growing up in Mochdre, Hunter was a Busby Babe although only playing once for the club on 27/12/1958 v Aston Villa at Villa Park which the Reds won 2-0.

Primarily playing as a forward, Reg Hunter joined the Reds after a transfer from Colwyn Bay on 11/1956, after leaving Manchester United, Hunter continued his football journey with Wrexham when he was transferred 02/1960, £, Reg also played for Bangor City.
