Biography

George Albinson was an English footballer and played as a wing half. Born in Prestwich, Lancashire, he began his football career with Manchester United, signing as a trainee in March 1919 and turning professional in May 1919.

Albinson made his first-team debut for Manchester United on January 12, 1921, in an FA Cup First Round Replay against Liverpool at Old Trafford, a match that ended in a 2-1 defeat. During his time with United, he made a total of one first-team appearance.

In May 1921, Albinson transferred to Manchester City. He made his debut for City on September 7, 1921, in a 1-1 draw against Liverpool. Over the course of the 1921-22 season, he made three league appearances for Manchester City.

After his brief professional career, Albinson's subsequent activities are not well-documented. He passed away in April 1975
